Rodrigo Teixeira

Rodrigo Teixeira Pereira is a professional football player who was born on June 16, 1978 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Teixeira is best known for being a member of Barcelona Sporting Club, where he was a member up until recent transfer to Nacional.

Teixeira has been active in the world of professional football for several years already, starting with his first club, Esmeraldas Petrolero in 2002. However, his time with the club was short lived as he was soon transferred to Barcelona Sporting Club around a year later. He stayed with his new club for just a year, before once more transferring to another club, Junior in Colombia. That same year, he transferred to another team, but this time in Venezuela, which was the Cracas Futbol Club.

Within months of playing with his latest club, Teixeira transferred back to Colombia where he was signed by Cucuta Deportivo.

Years have passed since his time in Cucuta Deportivo, and Teixeira has since been with various other clubs including SV Wehen, Aboomoslem, Deportivo Cuenca, Guarani, then to Barcelona and Nacional.
