Gabriel Antoine Obertan is a professional football player from France. Obertan was born on February 26, 1989 in Pantin, France, and is best known for being a winger of Manchester Untied. Obertan, however, is quite flexible as he is also able to take the place of a striker and a center midfielder.

Obertan used to be a part of the Clairfontaine academy before he started his career when he signed with Brodeaux, a French club. It was in 2009 that Obertan was signed by Manchester United, allowing him to leave Bordeaux for an undisclosed fee.

Although he officially started with Bordeaux, Obertan was already an active football player when he was a part of a local club that was located in Pantin. He eventually headed for higher levels, eventually enabling him to join Paris FC sometime in 2002.

Although Obertan is an active club player, he has also participated as an international player, representing France from the Under 16 levels to Under 21. One of his most memorable performances was during the UEFA European U19 Football Championship elite qualification round, wherein it was his lone goal that cinched victory for the team against Sweden.
