Barcelona assistant manager Jordi Roura has refused to claim the Spanish title after his side’s 1-0 win over Levante on Saturday.
Cesc Fabregas netted an 84th minute winner as Barcelona moved to within one game of the crown.
Barca hold a 13-point buffer over second-placed Real Madrid with six games to play but could clinch the title next weekend, when the Catalans go to Athletic Bilbao, while Real meet city rivals Atletico Madrid.
However, Roura refused to get carried away just yet.
“We could win La Liga next week? That’s only science-fiction at this moment,” Roura said.
“We suffered today and that shows this Liga is very complicated.
“We hope to win it as soon as possible, but for now we’re just focusing on a game at a time.”
