It’s an open secret that Thierry Henry is frustrated at FC Barcelona and now that the word has gone out of the Barcelona premise into the open, a number of hawks are eager to lay their claws on the player.
At the moment it is Chelsea who appear the most interested side in signing the player. Henry was signed from Arsenal by the Catalan giants last summer for a mouth watering amount and his addition to the Barcelona squad that boasted of the likes of Ronaldinho, Samuel Eto’o, Deco, Xavi and Lionel Messi was tipped to be something that Henry would severely enjoy.
Far from it. Henry has mostly been relegated to the bench by FC Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard and has mostly played the role of the Invisible Girl in the Fantastic Four Phenomenon. Henry has been far from lethal in his first season in La Liga and has openly admitted that he misses his daughter Tea who is in London at the moment.
Catalan sports daily Sport has reported that Chelsea have made preliminary inquisitions into a possible move for Henry in the summer. Chelsea are one of the first clubs to be linked with big name players and Henry’s case is no exception. Chelsea are also tipped to outbid AC Milan for another of Barcelona’s poorly performing star Ronaldinho but at the end of the day, such transfer rumour stories could be as good as figments of imagination conjured up by a highly creative mind.

Henry's not going anywhere. It was tough for him under Rijkaard but with Pep Guardiola, it is a different story. He has started a lot of games, especially at the European level and has scored a lot of goals.
With Barcelona, his role is slightly different as he was not meant to be the main source for goals, a role he played at Arsenal.
He may not be the (only) star of the team at the Nou Camp but with Etoo and Messi, is certainly an important figure up front. Look at the number of goals he is setting up. He wont leave especially if they win the Champions League.
