Henry To Return To England?
FC Barcelona are speculated to be keen on offloading Thierry Henry in the summer. Henry is only in his first season at Camp Nou after being signed from Arsenal last summer for a paultry 16 million euroes but has played only 25 games this season hitting the back of the net just 7 times.
Theirry Henry was supposed to complete the Fantastic Four phenomenon at Camp Nou adding to the presence of Ronaldinho, Samuel Eto’o and Lionel Messi. But Henry’s role has been that of the Invisible Girl and he has often been stagnated on Barca’s left side of attack instead of his preferred centre.
An insider at Barcelona leaked out this bit of information:
“If we receive a proposal then then we will speak to the player. We have not opened the door for Henry, but we have not closed it.”
That does it for now! Henry is reportedly unhappy in Spain since his daughter Tea is in London and Henry has confessed that he misses his child. This has flared up speculation that Henry would make a U-turn to the Premiership in the summer.
Of course Arsenal wouldn’t take him back in mainly for the frosty relationship between him and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger but the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City, even Newcastle United, have exhibited their desire to take in the player.
