Tomas Kostka
The four-member Czech team's fourth member is young rookie driver Tomas Kostka. The youngster has been a strong contender for championship titles in everything he has touched since his early days in Karting.
Tomas graduated out of Karting in 2001 when he competed in the Formula Ford series. He ran two series in the Ford Formula series, in the Ford Puma Cup and in the Formula Ford Cup. From Ford to BMW, Tomas was in Germany in 2002 for the Formula BMW ADAC Germany series. In the same year, he also drove in a select few events in the Formula 3 series in Austria. From the Austrian version, he moved to the German edition of the Formula 3 series.
After a season of Formula 3, after achieving moderate success, Tomas would get another season in the German Formula 3 series but along with that, he also ran in the World Series by Nissan, in 2004.
In 2005, Tomas decided to race in the World Series, full time, but his series of choice was the World Series by Renault where he stayed for three years from 2005 - 08. Called into the A1GP squad, Tomas will be more a part of the team development rather than the actual race but there will be a lot of instances when the young Czech will get to demonstrate his abilities to move up the ladder of A1GP success.
