About me

Hi. I am Subhankar Mondal and at the moment I am in Kolkata, India. I am 22 years of age (though everyone says that I look like a Standard X student!). I completed my BA in Journalism, English Literature and Psychology in the summer.

The love of my life is FOOTBALL (SOCCER).....I know,I know,this does sound quite strange,an Indian declaring his love for football when the entire nation is steeped in cricket-craziness. But I have always loved football and it has been one huge source of inspiration in my life.

I work as a football journalist for Goal.com and Sports Pundit. I write mainly on European and Indian football and consider myself a Spanish football expert. And it is my almost impossible dream to live and work in Spain one day.

I have been writing football news and articles for Sports Pundit since April 2008 and am delighted and grateful in equal measure to be on board of a very rapidly growing sports organization.
