John McCarthy

John McCarthy is an American left winger on the San Jose Sharks.

McCarthy was drafted by the Sharks in 2006, after his freshman year at Boston University. He finished his college career in 2009, scoring 29 points in his senior year. He spent most of the 2009-10 season in the AHL with the Worcester Sharks, but did appear in 4 games for San Jose. He’ll attempt to make the roster again during the 2010 training camp.
