Niklas Andersson

Niklas Andersson is a Swedish defenseman on Djurgardens IF.

Andersson has spent the last six years playing in the Elitserien, mostly with Brynas IF, whom he joined the league with in 2003. He split time between the Elitserien and Brynas Jr, until 2005, when he was moved to Almtuna IS in a lower-tier league. He returned to the Elitserien in 2008, when he played 33 games for Djurgardens. He has yet to fully prove himself a the senior levels of professional hockey, but has the talent to do so.

Andersson has played for Team Sweden at a number of international junior competitions.
