Derek Meech

Derek Meech is a Canadian defenseman on the Detroit Red Wings.

Meech was drafted by Detroit in 2002, and made his NHL debut in 2006. He played 32 games in the 2007-08 season, which was under the requirement to be included on the Stanley Cup that the Wings won. However, his teammates petitioned to have his name included on the Cup.
