Nick Schultz is a Canadian defenseman on the Minnesota Wild.
Schultz was drafted by Minnesota in 2000. He joined the Wild in 2001, and has developed into one of the most solid defensive defensemen on the team. He has only missed one game due to injury since entering the league. His best statistical season was 2003-04, when he scored 6 goals and 16 points.
Schultz played for Team Canada 5 times. He won a bronze medal at the 2001 World Junior Championships, and a silver in 2002. He won 2 gold medals at the 2004 and 2007 World Championships, as well as playing in the 2006 tournament.
