Eric Nystrom
Eric Nystrom is an American left winger on the Minnesota Wild.
Nystrom was drafted in the 1st round of the 2002 draft by Calgary. He played his college hockey at the University of Michigan, where he put up solid numbers all four years. He made his NHL debut in 2005, but played only 2 games. He played 44 games in 2007-08, and had 10 points. His development has been hampered by injuries, but he played 76 games for the Flames in 2008-09, and didn't miss a single game in 2009-10, so hopefully his injury troubles are behind him. As the Flames were looking to retool their roster in the 2010 offseason, he was allowed to walk as a UFA, and signed with Minnesota.
