Peter Baumgartner

Peter Baumgartner is a German professional ice hockey player who has been with the Hannover Scorpions since 2009. Baumgartner was born on July 22, 1986 in Vilsbiburg, Germany, and plays as the team’s defender.

Baumgartner started his playing career when he was still young, playing for the junior division of EV Landshut. At the time, he was still quite an active player in the junior league, before he jumped into the major leagues when he signed with Essen Mosquitoes. His time with the Mosquitoes was rather short lived as he then transferred to EC Peiting for a year. Aside from the Scorpions, Baumgartner has also played with the Hannover Indians and SERC Wild Wings.
