Match play is a simple scoring system for the game of golf. This is a system that usually takes place in the world of men's professional golf, although there are some tournaments that also use match play as a scoring system. Match play is different from stroke play. And stroke play, scores are made using the number of strokes that are taken at a whole. At each hole, only one point can be gained. Match play scores again with the tally; at the beginning of the match, both golfers are on even playing ground.
Scoring a golf match with match play is different in scoring at will stroke play, allowing golfers to take a different approach at winning than they normally would, using a different strategy.
