Dudley Hart
Howard Dudley Hart is a professional golfer from Rochester, New York. Hart was born on August 4, 1968 and is best known for being one of the current players of the PGA Tour.
During his younger years, Hart studied at the Archbishop Curley-Notre Dame High School that was located in Miami, Florida. He then proceeded to get his college education at the University of Florida, which is located in Gainesville, Florida. During his time in college, Hart was a member of the Florida Gators golf team and was soon a four-time All-American golfer. He was also a three-time all-Southeastern Conference first-team member as well as a Freshman of the Year.
By 1990, Hart turned pro and spent a year attempting to get into the PGA Tour. He finally entered the PGA Tour, and has been able to win two tournaments since then. His first PGA Tour victory was at the Bell Canadian Open in 1996, and his second was in 2000 at the Honda Classic.
Despite winning 6 professional victories overall and only 2 victories at the PGA Tour, Hart has been identified as one of the most consistent players on the PGA tour. In fact, he has more than four dozen top-ten finishes as well as numerous 3rd and 2nd place finishes during his career. He has also participated in all Major Championships; his best performance was in the 1993 PGA Championship. However, he has not yet won a single Major Championship event.
