Jeff Gove is a professional golfer from the United States who is best known for playing in both Nationwide and PGA Tours. Gove was born on May 28, 1971 in Seattle, Washington, and is currently an active player of the PGA Tour.
Throughout his professional playing years, he has spent time on and off the PGA Tour, although his first time playing on the PGA Tour was only in 2000, despite going pro in 1994. Right after turning pro, Gove played in the Nationwide Tour from 1995-1999 until he got his big break and joined the PGA Tour. However, he was not able to retain his Tour card and soon went back to the Nationwide Tour in 2001.
Through Gove’s determination, he has played in the PGA Tour in 2002, 2006, 2007, and 2008 aside from his initial 2000 PGA Tour debut. After finishing the 2009 season on the Nationwide Tour, Gove was able to reach the 17th place on the Tour’s money list, which gave him a PGA Tour card for 2010.
Throughout his years playing professional golf, Gove has won 4 times, but not a single one was won on the PGA Tour. 3 of the said victories were won on the Nationwide Tour, while another tournament was by a minor tour. Among the Major Championships, Gove was able to participate in the 2004 U.S. Open, although he failed to make the cut.
