This is an illegal delivery by a bowler which is indicated by the umpire by holding one arm out horizontally. After a no ball, an additional ball must be bowled and 1 or 2 runs (varies as per competition) are added to the score of the batting team. On the no ball, the batsman can be given out only if he is run out.
