Tirumalasetti Suman

Tirumalasetti Laxminarayan Suman is a professional Indian first class cricketer. Born in Hyderabad in 1983, he made his debut in first class cricket for the team of Hyderabad. He represents Hyderabad cricket team other than the Andhra Pradesh team, Deccan Chargers and Mumbai Indians. At a recent IPL player auction, Tirumalasetti was retained by the team of Mumbai Indians to play at the IPL 5 season 2012.

This right handed opening or middle order batsman was an active part of the second season of the Indian Premier League and had represented Deccan Chargers with great success in 2009. In the third season, Tirumalasetti made the team of Deccan Chargers win many matches.

Of the 28 First class matches, Tirumalasetti scored 1267 runs, at an average of 27.54 and a strike rate of 48.37. He played in 36 List A matches, scoring 852 runs, at an average of 23.66 and a strike rate of 67.35. Moreover, he played in 52 Twenty20 matches till date, scoring 916 runs, at an average of 21.80 and a strike rate of 121.80.
