Justin Kemp
Justin Kemp is a right arm fast medium seamer and middle order batsman. In 2000-01, during the 3rd Test against Sri Lanka he made his international debut. In this match, he took 5 wickets for 54 runs and was selected for the Caribbean tour. However, in the West Indies, his performance was disappointing and more importantly he admitted smoking marijuana.
In 2004-05, when England visited South Africa, he played an excellent innings of 80 from 50 balls in East London. While playing in the home series against New Zealand, Kemp scored 73 off 64 balls with the assistance of 3 sixers. In the 3rd match, he whacked 30 runs in 19 deliveries to clinch the series. Due to these performances, he was honored as Man of the Series.
Kemp played in Kent in 2006. Then, he scored his first ODI century while remaining unbeaten on 100 at Cape Town and the opponent was India. The Cricket World Cup 2007 and the World Twenty 20 was a stop start affair for him. Later, he signed a 2 year deal with Kent. In the ICL, he was selected by Hyderabad Heroes.
