Pankaj Singh is a right arm medium fast bowler from Rajasthan. At present, he is a part of the Rajasthan Royals team to play at the IPL 5 season 2012. Initially, he was in the U-19 level where he gave consistent performances and progressed to the India A side. His maturity was observed in 2006 when in the Ranji Plate League, Rajasthan reached the final. In this league he took 21 wickets at a bowling average of 20.95.
In 2007, he was selected in the India A team that toured Kenya and Zimbabwe. In the unofficial Tests and ODIs in Kenya, he claimed overall 18 wickets and due to this performance, he was chosen for the home series against South Africa A. During the Border-Gavaskar Trophy of 2007-08 in Australia, as Munaf Patel and Sreesanth were injured, Singh was made a part of the Indian Test squad. However, he was not selected in the Playing XI. In the IPL, he was a part of Rajasthan Royals squad.

Pankaj Singh played in 19 Twenty20 matches in which he bowled 355 deliveries and gave away 529 runs and claimed 11 wickets.
In 61 First class cricket matches, he picked up 226 wickets in the 11967 balls that he bowled while conceding 5941 runs. His economy rate was 2.97, bowling average was 26.28 and bowling strike rate was 52.9.
