Shaun Udal
Shaun Udal had played for English team on the international level from 1994 to 2006. He had also played for Hampshire and Middlesex. The nickname that he had attained all through his cricketing tenure was ‘Shaggy’. He is a right-handed player. Style of balling is ‘Right-arm off break’.
Shaun Udal stepped in to international cricket on 19th of May, 1994 by playing against New Zealand at Edgbaston, Birmingham. In this match, Udal had remained not-out on 3. He was the last batsman to come on the ground. Basically, Udal was included as a bowler. He lived up to the expectations of the selectors by taking two wickets in this match itself. He thus chipped in his share in victory of England by 42 runs. Udal, however, entered the world of test matches quite later, i.e. on 12th of November, 2005. This test match was held against Pakistan at Multan. He could take a wicket in the first innings. In the second innings, however, he was not able to open his account. Pakistan has a very narrow escape from defeat (won by 22 runs).

Shaun Udal played 11 ODIs in all; wherein he took 8 wickets. As a batsman, he made 109 runs in ODIs. ‘33 not out’ was his highest score. He played just one test series, i.e. 4 test matches- the first one was the one mentioned above.
