Debra Stock was a cricketer with the England Women’s cricket team. She has also played for the Thames Valley Women’s team.
Debra Stock made her debut in International cricket in a One day International match against the Australian women’s team at Wellington in 1992. Stock bowled 12 overs and gave away 39 runs. Coming to bat she scored 6 runs in 12 balls and was stumped by the wicketkeeper Chris Matthews off a ball by Sally Moffat. Australia went on to win the match by 42 runs. The following month, Stock played her debut test match against the New Zealand women’s team at Wanganui. Stock bowled 17 overs in the first innings and gave away 20 runs. This also included 7 maiden overs. Coming on to bat, Stock scored 22 runs in 88 balls and was bowled by Jennifer Turner. She bowled 14 overs in the second innings giving away 21 runs and claimed the wicket of Shelley Fruin. England went on to win the match by 4 wickets. She played her last match in a test against the New Zealand team at Guildford in 1996.
In a total of 15 One day Internationals, Stock has scored 153 runs and claimed 13 wickets at an economy of 2.95. She also has a total of 91 runs and 15 wickets in the 7 test matches that she has played.
