Dave Mohammed is a left arm unorthodox spinner and a left handed batsman with the West Indies cricket team. He has also played for the Trinidad and Tobago cricket teams.
Dave Mohammed started playing first class cricket since 2000. He made his debut in International cricket in a test match against South Africa at Cape Town in 2004. Mohammed claimed the wickets of JA Rudolph, McKenzie and M Ntini and gave away 112 runs in the 33 overs he bowled in the first innings. He also scored 36 runs in 36 balls which included 7 boundaries and a six.
In the second innings, Mohammed could not claim any wickets and he gave away 30 runs in the 6 overs that he bowled. Mohammed was accompanied by DR Smith who was also playing his test debut for the West Indies; the match however resulted in a draw. In 2006, Mohammed made his debut in One day International cricket match against Zimbabwe at Gros Islet. He claimed 3 wickets and gave away 37 runs in 10 overs of the match the West Indies won by 10 wickets.
