Hendrik Human Dippenaar or Boeta Dippenaar is a South African National Cricketer who was born on 14th june 1977 in Kimberly, Cape Province, South Africa. He is a right handed batsman and a right arm off break bowler. He generally bats in the top order for the teams which he plays. He is prolific in driving the ball through the covers and always keeps a steady head while facing it which makes him a more composed batsman.

He has represented the South African National Cricket team in both Tests and One Day Internationals. In tests he has been shuffled many times in the batting order right from opening the innings to the number 7 position. His debut in ODI's came against India in Nairobi on 26th September 1999. Boeta Dippenaar was again included in the tests for the series against Zimbabwe at home as well as away. There his performance was not up to the mark.

In the next five years he was seen in and out of the National team as he kept losing form quite regularly. but in 2004-05 he was again selected for the series against West Indies where he scored two fifties in three innings in test matches and maintained a high average of 105.66 runs in the five ODIs he played in the same series.

He missed on to the series against New Zealand and India due to a wrist injury however, he recovered well with it and played for Eagles which is his domestic side. The selectors still gave him a chance at the highest level by taking him into the side playing in the VB series against Australia.

In January 2008, Boeta Dippenaar made a decision of retirement from International Cricket at the age of just 30 years. In One Day Internationals he has played 107 matches where he has scored 3421 runs at a high average of 42.23 runs and has a highest of 125 not out. while in test matches he has scored 1718 runs in 38 matches at an average of 30.14 with a highest of 177 not out.
