Shahbaz Nadeem is an Indian professional cricket player who plays for the Jharkhand team. This slow left arm orthodox bowler even played for the Indian under 19s team and for the Bihar under 14s team. The Major teams that Shahbaz has been a part of includes Bihar under 14s, Jharkhand and Delhi Daredevils team.
Prior to his first class debut, Shahbaz played as the left arm slow bowler and even experiments with varying loop degrees. Moreover, he is an athletic fielder, having his own fixture at point. In 2002, he made a nine wicket haul against the team of Sikkim in the under 15 game. Other than this, his fist class debut earlier was quite impressive, though he found himself under the Australian hammer in the under 19s one day matches and played in only one match in the under 19 World Cup.
Shahbaz played in 33 first class matches, 31 List A matches and in 20 Twenty20 matches so far. Of the 33 first class matches, he took 7216 balls of 3160 runs with 92 wickets to his credit. His average bowling rate was 34.34 with a strike rate of 78.4.
In 31 List A matches, he bowled 1687 balls of 1176 runs taking 42 wickets. His average was 28 with a strike rate of 40.1. He played in 20 Twenty20 matches, with 444 balls of 423 runs, of 21 wickets. He made 20.14 average rate and 21.1 strike rate.
