Harpreet Singh Bhatia is an Indian cricket player born in 1991 in Durg, Madhya Pradesh. This left hand batsman and a right arm medium pacer was selected to play in the IPL 2011 for the team of Sahara Pune Warriors. Presently, he has been retained to play for the same team at the IPL 5 season 2012.
Harpreet scored 709 runs in 7 matches in the Cooch Behar Trophy held in 2008-09 season, when he won the award for the best under 19 player of the season. Moreover, he was also named as the vice captain for the under 19 tour to Australia held in 2009. He scored 262 runs at an average of 52.40. His Ranji Trophy debut came in 2009 for the team of Madhya Pradesh, when he was named in the under 19 squad for the World Cup in New Zealand.
Harpreet made his first class debut in 2009 against the Haryana cricket team held in Indore. His List A debut was in 2008, against the team of Rajasthan held in Kanpur. His Twenty20 debut was in 2010, when he played for the Kolkata Riders held in Mumbai. He played against the Mumbai Indians team.
