Robin Pinto
Robin Pinto is a female retired professional boxer who was known to have joined the boxing world from 2001 to 2002. Pinto was born on May 25, 1961 in British Columbia, Canada. Although Pinto’s career in boxing was rather short, it was quite notable and caused quite a ruckus in the boxing world. Other than her short career, Pinto made waves mainly because she began her boxing career at the age of forty, and she did not have any record of amateur boxing before that.
Although lacking in experience, Pinto still went on and fought against many of the top fighters and contenders in the female boxing world. Her very first fight was held on April 7, 2001, where she went head to head against Yvonne Caples, but was defeated by the well known boxer. By September 25 of that year, she defeated Brandy Leon in a match that lasted four rounds, winning via unanimous decision.
In March 30, 2002, Pinto faced Para Draine, a world champion, but was defeated in the four round decision match.
Throughout her short career, Pinto was able to fight a total of 6 matches with 2 wins and 3 losses, with 1 draw. It must be noted that despite Pinto’s age and with the number of well known boxers that she fought, she never lost a fight via knockout.
