Natalie Langston Demo Reel - Host, Reporter

Natalie won the hearts of audiences everywhere when she stepped in front of the "City Lights" cameras as Novus TV's youngest entertainment reporter. A natural purveyor of pop culture she has since donned writing and producing hats too, all of which she wears in her signature "Natalie" style. Destined to be an entertainer, Natalie announced to her grade four class that she was going to be an anchorwoman -- and has never looked back. Born and raised on the west coast she earned an Arts degree from SFU; then graduated from the BCIT Broadcast Journalism program with numerous accolades and an internship with the national entertainment program Entertainment Tonight Canada in Toronto. This brief stint in the east came loaded with exciting opportunities for Natalie, including celebrity interviews on the red carpet at TIFF, and an interview with Elton John for Fashion Cares. Heading back west Natalie arrived to the experience of a lifetime, when she was chosen to interview Team Canada at the 2010 Olympics for Global BC Sports. This experience also gave her the opportunity to work with longtime friend and mentor Squire Barnes, of Global BC Sports, who she says taught her everything she knows about the art of the interview. Natalie can now be seen regularly on the Novus Network, where she has earned a reputation for making her guests feel comfortable through her innate ability to bring out the lighter side of stories. As a professional dancer and advocate of healthy lifestyles, you can catch her on her weekly fitness show, "Fitness on the Run", set to air on Novus TV, spring 2013. As an animal lover, Natalie has signed on as a producer of "My Pet Diaries" and her eye for style has lead her to a fashion-reporter position with FMA Entertainment Weekly, in addition to her own "Style Series" with The Huffington Post. As co-host of Miss World Canada 2013, Natalie was asked to become a member of the Executive Board and Ambassador to the Miss World Canada Organization. Through the organization Natalie will play a role model in their leadership program in addition to proudly supporting Variety Children's Charity and Beauty With a Purpose, helping change the lives of children worldwide. Whether in heels or in her Frye boots Natalie thrives on chasing down her next story. She is always on the scene and ready to take on any new challenge. She loves what she does as she sees it as a platform to propel change in the world through her eyes. One day she hopes to see it in national syndication.
