The 2012 Summer Olympics get down to business on Saturday, July 28. On the schedule are events ranging from archery to weightlifting. A number of competitions will also feature medals being awarding, including swimming and fencing.American swimmer Michael Phelps will compete for the gold medal in the 400-meter individual medley.Among the athletes with a Minnesota connection, a trio of players from the Minnesota Lynx of the NBA are in action on Saturday with the Team USA women's basketball team. Seimone Augustus, Maya Moore, and Lindsay Whalen from the Lynx and the rest of Team USA take on Croatia.Swimming competitions and others will be broadcast on NBC in prime time, from 8 p.m. to Midnight Eastern.
