2012 NBA Draft Lottery, Who Goes Where in the Top 5? Brian & Zak Talk Cavs 06_01_12 Unhappy Hour
NBA scout & lifelong Cleveland sports fan Zak Baris discusses the 2012 NBA Draft lottery. Zak says that Anthony Davis is a "no brainer" pick at the number one spot for the New Orleans Hornets. Greg Oden was a great pick at the time for the Portland Trailblazers, but injuries go him. Not a bad pick. Zak discusses talent vs. heart by saying: "If I see a guy who isn't giving 100% on the floor, I'll always give him a lower grade than someone who isn't as talented, with a lower ceiling, but more guaranteed as a success rate." Dan Gilbert is one of the best owners in the NBA because he spends the money needed to improve team facilities and improve the roster. Gilbert Gambled with 8 million dollars to trade Baron Davis for the pick that eventually became the #1 pic, Kyrie Irving. Gilbert just opened a new casino in Cleveland, verifying his penchant for rolling the dice. Brian & Zak address the possibility that the NBA draft could have been rigged.
