Erica continued her basketball journey at Louisiana State University (LSU), where she balanced her studies in General Studies with concentrations in communication studies, sociology, and sports studies. During her time with the Lady Tigers from 2004 to 2008, she played under several coaches, including Pokey Chatman, Bob Starkey, and Van Chancellor. After initially coming off the bench, she became a starter in her junior year, playing a pivotal role in her team's success. In her senior season, she was named second-team All-SEC and earned All-New Orleans Region honors, finishing her college career ranked third on LSU’s all-time assists list with 519.
