Ramon Sessions
Ramon Sessions is a professional basketball player from the United States of America and specializes as a point guard. Sessions went to the University of Nevada where he ranked second all-time in terms of career assists (478). In his Junior year, before declaring for the draft, Sessions averaged 4.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 12.3 points per game to add to his 0.9 steals.
In the Pre-draft camp, Sessions had a wonderful time and decided to stay in the draft than go back to college for another year. The Milwaukee Bucks picked him in the second round (57th overall) of the 2007 NBA Draft.
Sessions was assigned to the NBA Development League straightaway and played for the Tulsa 66ers in 2007-08. In the very first weekend of the season, he was named as the Player of the Week after averaging 30.5 points per game with 7.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game. He would get another player of the week award in January 2008.
Later in January, Sessions was recalled to the Bucks but his debut had to wait until March as he was suffering from a wrist injury. Injuries to Maurice Williams and Charlie Bell meant that Sessions would need to fill in the point guard slot and his game times improved.
Sessions would go onto score a career-high 20-points in April, with 8 rebounds and 24 assists (a franchise record) against the Chicago Bulls. This was also the first double-double with points and assists in the history of the franchise. In February 2009, Sessions would score 44 points against the Minnesota Timberwolves to set a new career-high.
