Career
Brandon's baseball journey began at Pope High School, where he played under coach Jeff Rowland. His impressive talent caught the attention of the New York Yankees, who selected him in the 50th round of the 2001 amateur draft. However, he chose to further his education and play at Georgia Tech, where he majored in Science, Technology, and Culture.In 2004, Brandon was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the fourth round. His minor league career spanned several teams, beginning with the Spokane Indians in the Northwest League and progressing through the ranks with stints at the Clinton Lumber Kings, Bakersfield Blaze, Frisco RoughRiders, and finally the Oklahoma RedHawks. This journey prepared him for his eventual call-up to the majors.
He made his Major League debut on April 29, 2008, against the Kansas City Royals, where he impressively recorded two hits in just two at-bats. This moment marked the culmination of years of hard work and dedication.
