*Scott Cameron Linebrink’ was born on August 4, 1976 in Austin, Texas. He is a pitcher for the Chicago White Sox.High SchoolScott graduated from McNeil High School in Round Rock, Texas in 1994. CollegeScott attended Concordia Lutheran College, then transferred to Southwest Texas State University, where he led the Bobcats to the 1997 NCAA Regional in Lubbock, Texas.*Minor Leagues’ Started his career going through the San Francisco Giants farm system.
1997 - began at Rookie Salem-Keizer before promotion to Single-A San Jose 1998 - played at AA Shreveport. 1999 - Played at AA Shreveport, but missed most of the season recovering from 1998 arm surgery. 2000 - Made his major league debut in this year, but spent most of the season in the minor leagues. 2001 - Scott spent a few stints in the majors with the Houston Astros, but spent most of the season in the minors with AAA New Orleans, and again in 2002. 2003 - Scott was traded to the San Diego Padres.
Major Leagues Scott was a set-up pitcher for the San Diego Padres from 2003 to 2006.
He was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers for 3 minor leaguers on July 25, 2007.
