Tim Cahill is an Austrialian international football player who currently features for the English Premier League side Everton. He is a versatile football player who can plays as an attacking midfielder or as a striker. He is the first Australian to score at a World Cup and also the first to score at an Asian Cup.

Tim Cahill was born in Australian to an English father and a Samoan mother and developed at the youth academy of Sydney United. He went to England in 1997 to try his hand at professional football and started with Millwall.

He was a star at Millwall as he made 217 league appearances for them and scored 52 goals between 1997 and 2004. In the summer of 2004 Everton signed Cahill for 1.5 million pounds.

In the 2004-2005 season Tim Cahill finished as the club’s top scorer and assister in the English Premier League and he has never looked back since. He has since gone onto make more than 100 appearances for the Blues in the English Premier League and has scored close to 50 goals in all competitions.

Tim Cahill made his international debut for Australia in June 2004 against South Africa in London although two years previously in 2002 he was eager to play for Republic of Ireland. He quickly established himself into the Australian national sde and was named Oceana Footballer of the Year for 2004. He played at the 2006 Germany World Cup for his nation and scored against Japan.
