Jorge Perez Companc started his racing career as a co-driver for his brother Luis. Born in 1966, in Argentina, the two brothers took part in numerous national and international cross country events. The duo were extremely strong and although they didn't have many momentous occasions, their victory in the International Raid d'Italia of 1999 was an extremely happy event. He even participated in the 2000 Paris-Dakar-El Cairo Rally.
His first rally experience, however, was in 1998, next to Gabriel Raeis, the brother of Juan Pablo Raies. In 2003, Companc had the opportunity to ride with the other sibling as part of the Munchi's Ford World Rally Team. In 2003, along with Juan Pablo, Nicky won the A8 class in the Argentine Rally Championships in a Toyota Corolla WRC. They proved that their feat was not a one-off as they repeated it the very next year by winning it again. The following year, in 2005, they won the South American Rally Championships in a Subaru Impreza S10 WRC.
After Raies left the Munchi's Ford World Rally Team, Jorge took the co-driver's seat next to Federico Villagra. For the 2008 season, Companc will continue to ply his trade next to Villagra in for the Argentine version of Ford's Rally Team.
