Maxime Talbot is a Canadian center for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
After putting together an impressive career in the QMJHL, Talbot earned a tryout with the Pittsburgh Penguins. He played 48 games in 2005-06 before being sent back to the AHL. Talbot has developed into a role player on the Penguins in the past three seasons.
2007-08 has proven to be his breakout season, as he set a career high in points with 26. He is a regular penalty killer for Pittsburgh and has scored a number of clutch goals in the 2008 playoffs, including a game-tying goal with 34 seconds left in regulation of Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals.
Talbot was an assistant captain of the 2002 Canadian junior team.
