Murray Andy is exposed to a world of tennis even at a young age. His mother is formerly a Scottish coach for national players. His older brother, Jamie, is a professional tennis player and holds the number 50 rank for the doubles category. Today, his girlfriend, Kim Sears is the daughter of well known tennis player and coach, Nigel Sears.
Born on May 15, 1987 in Great Britain, Andy already had the opportunity to play tennis when he was three years old. As he became a professional player in 2005, he is coached by Louis Cayer, Leon Smith and Miles Maclagan. He plays with his right hand and has a strong double handed backhand. He finds the clay surface as his most favourite.
He has the same number 11th ranking in the Rollover and Race for the current singles. He ranked number 8 in the Career High Singles for the Rollover in June 2007 and number 1, also on the Career High Singles for the Race in January 2008. In the current year singles he made 19 wins and 9 losses, and for the current year doubles he made 2 wins and 3 losses.
