Daniel Cleary fan club
Daniel Cleary is a Canadian born right winger for the Detroit Red Wings.
Cleary was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the first round of the 1997 Entry Draft after years of success in the OHL with the Belleville Bulls, where he made the OHL All-star team in 1996 and 1997. Cleary was soon dealt to the Edmonton Oilers where he spent four years. Cleary was productive, but was not re-signed by the Oilers and was picked up by the Phoenix Coyotes. After the lockout, Cleary was signed by the Red Wings, where he has since begun to make a name for himself.
In 2007-2008, Cleary set career highs in points and assists (42, 22) despite playing in only 63 games due to a broken jaw.
