Nicola Legrottaglie

Nicola Legrottaglie is a former Italian international footballer who currently features for the Italian and European giants Juventus. He plays as a centre-back and has played 7 times for Italy, scoring once.

Nicola Legrottaglie is a product of the youth academy at Italian side Bari and made his professional debut for the club way back in 1996. After just three seasons with the club, he moved to Prato and then to Chievo Verona in 1998 and he played for them until the end of the 2002-2003 season.

Legrottahlie was then signed up by Italian giants Juventus in the summer of 2003 and was a regular for the 2003-2004 season. He was offloaded to Bologna in January 2005 on loan and to Siena on loan for the 2005-2006 season.

Nicola Legrottahlie’s contract with Juventus was supposed to run out in the summer of 2008 but in October 2007 he was given a two-year extension. He though is still to feature regularly for Juventus.
