Zdeněk Grygera is Czech international footballer who currently features for the Italian and European giants Juventus. He is essentially a defender who can play as a attacking right back and at centre-back and at wing back.
Zdeněk Grygera commenced his professional career at Czech side FC Zlin in 1997 and then moved onto Petra Drnovice in 1998. He was signed by Sparta Prague in 2000 and after three heavily impressive seasons for them in which he made 65 appearances, he was signed by Dutch superpower AFC Ajax. He was a regular at Ajax and scored 10 goals in the 99 matches that he featured in for the Dutch giants in all competitions until the end of the 2006-2007 season.
In the summer of 2007, Grygera was signed by Italian powerhouse Juventus on a Bosman free transfer and he made 18 appearances for his new club in the 2007-2008 season.
Grygera has played 50 international matches for the Czech Republic and represented his country at Euro 2004 and 2006 Germany World Cup.
