Jess Kedwell Vanstrattan

Jess Kedwell Vanstrattan is an Australian footballer who currently features for the Italian and European powerhouse Juventus. He plays as a goalkeeper.

Jess Kedwell Vanstrattan commenced his professional career at Australian club Northern Spirit and madethe huge leap to Europe in 2001 when he was signed by Italian side Verona. But he was offloaded on loan to Carrarese and then Ancona and then returned to Verona.

In the summer of 2007, the player was involved in a controversial transfer saga. Jess Vanstrattan ended his contract with Verona in 2007 although his contract was due to expire in the summer of 2008. He returned to his native Australia in June 2007 citing personal reasons but signed for Juventus only a month later.

But in Auguest 2007 the Lega Calcio made the ruling that Vanstrattan’s contract with Juventus was illegal and that he was officially a Verona player. But Verona and Juventus quickly reached an agreement and Juventus signed the Aussie ‘keeper on loan for the 2007-2008 season.
