Fabricio Fuentes is an Argentine footballer who currently features for the Spanish side Villarreal. Fuentes is a central defender and has played only once for his country Argentina.
Fabricio Fuentes commenced his professional career with Newell's Old Boys in 1996 and returned to the club in 1998 and played for them until 2001. He featured for Vélez Sársfield from 2001 to 2005.
In 2006, Fuentes was signed by Villarreal and has settled quite well at El Madrigal. He is a strong and uncompromind cental defender and also holds an Italian passport.
