Guillermo Franco is an Argentine born Mexican intrnational footballer currently playing for the Spanish first division side Villarreal. He is a feared striker.
Guillermo Franco began his professional career at Argentine side San Lorenzo and played for them for six years between 1996 and 2002. Thereafter he shifted to Mexico and featured for CF Monterrey with distinction for the next three years. It was at Monterrey that Franco established his name.
Guillermo Franco was signed by Villarreal in the summer of 2006 and has performed quite well for the Spanish side.
Franco became a naturlized Mexican citizen in 2002 and played for his adopted nation in the 2002 Germany World Cup.
