José Manuel Jurado Marín, most commonly known as Jurado, is a young Spanish international footballer who currently plays for the Spanish giants Atletico Madrid. He is generally read as an attacking midfielder and can play on the wings but he perfers to play in the hole just behind the two strikers.

Jurado is a grauduate of the Real Madrid Castilla and made his debut for the senior in the 2005-2006 season. He played 5 matches for the Merengues including one against Olimpiakos in the UEFA Champions League but failed to thread his way into an already dense Real Madrid line-up.

Jurado was signed by city-rivals Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2006 for a transfer fee of around 3 million euros. But Real Madrid do have a first-option in his contract which denotes that at the end of the 2007-2008 Real can buy Jurado back from Atletico.
