Pablo Ibáñez Tébar is a Spanish international central defender currently playing for Spanish giants Atletico Madrid. He is renowed for his leadership at the back and also for his tough defending.

Pablo Ibanez commenced his playing career at his hometown club Albacete Balompié and amde his debut for the club in the Segunda Division. He played for the senior Albacete side from 2002 to 2004.

Atletico Madrid signed him in 2002 and he has been a regular player for them ever since. So much so that he has now created a space for himself in the Spanish national team and regularly features for them. Ibanez made his debut for Spain against England in 2004 and played in the 2006 Germany World Cup.
