Gnegneri Yaya Toure, most popularly called Yaya Toure, is an Ivory Coast international footballer who currently features for the Spanish and Euroepan giants FC Barcelona. Yaya Toure s the yunger brother of the Arsenal central defender Kolo Toure and joined Barclone at athe sytar of the 2007-2008season.

Yaya Toure joined the ASEC Momosas youth academy in 1996 and after arching through a number of clubs since then, he landed at Greek giants Olympiacos in 2005. It was here that he started garnering interest from all the major clubs in Europe and he even attend a trial at Arsenal at the start of the 2005-2006 Premiership season but failed.

Yaya Toure was signed By AS Monaco in the summer of 2006 for 4.5 million euros but one season on Barcelna signed him for a staggering transfer fee of 10 million euros. He has been a key figure for Barca ever since and his box-to-box running with his ability to anchor the midfield is certainly something that has made him one of th ebest defensive medios in Europe.
