Wesley Sneijder is a Dutch international footballer who plays for the Spanish and European champions Real Madrid. Sneijder is considered as one of the best midfielders in the modern game and is also one of the most sought after players in the world of football.

Sneijder is a graduate of the world’s best football academy, the youth academy at Dutch giants AFC Ajax in Amsterdam. Sneijder was born in a football family in the Dutch city of Utrecth; his father himself was a footballer. Sneijder made his debut for Ajax in December 2002 against SBV Excelsior and readily made his way through to the first team.

In the summer of 2007, Real Madrid signed the highly rated versatile Dutch midfielder who can play on the wings too and is one of the most accurate passers of the ball in the game.
