Albert Jorquera Fortia is a Spanish goalkeeper currently playing for the Spanish and European giants FC Barcelona. He graduated from the Barcelona youth academy but has never managed to steer himself inot the first team, always playing either as a second choice or even a third choice custodian for the Catalan giants.

Jorquera started playing for Barcelona’s youth system in 1994 and painstakingly progressed through the ranks. He was loaned out to lower league clubs AD Cueta in the 2000-2001 season and CE Mataro in 2001-2002. He has been playing for the Barcelona first team since 2003.

But unfortunately Albert Jorquera has never managed to thread his way to the first choice goalkeeping berth and has made just 13 appearances since 2003 for Barca.
