Jerzy Dudek is a veteran Polish international goalkeeper currently playing for the Spanish and European giants Real Madrid in Spain. He joined the Madrid giants in the summer of 2007 on a free transfer.
Dudek commenced his career with the Polish youth club Concordia Knurow. He made his professional debut with Sokol Tychy in the 1996-1997 season and the very next season he was on his way to Dutch giants Feyenoord for whom made 196 appearances in 5 seasons.
In the summer of 2001, Jerzy Dudek was signed by Liverpool and went on to make 180 appearnces for the Premiership outfits in his 6 years at Anfield.
He also won the UEFA Champions League with Liverpool in 2005 and played his own part in the final with his heroic performance in the penalty-shoot out against AC Milan.
Dudek now platys second fiddle to Iker Casillas at Real Madrid. He has been capped 58 times by the Polish national team.
